Adam Lindell - Chief Executive Officer
Adam is the co-founder and CEO of Labassa Capital. He has more than 20 years’ experience in funds management and structuring property deals.
Adam is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the business, leadership of the investment team, and strengthening relationships with the firm’s clients and investors.
Before founding Labassa Capital, Adam was Chief Operating Officer and Head of Structured Credit at fund manager Merricks Capital, where he originated and funded more $1bn of real estate debt.
Prior to Merricks, Adam was a Partner of a national commercial law firm.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) from Latrobe University.

Melissa Hosgood - Managing Director
Melissa is co-founder and Managing Director of Labassa Capital and leads the firm’s capital raising.
Melissa has more than 13 years’ experience in real estate private capital and institutional banking from which she’s developed extensive contacts with Australian and Asian family offices, private banks and institutional investors.
Before Labassa, Melissa held roles in institutional banking with Westpac Banking Corporation and HSBC.
Melissa holds a Master of Business Administration from UTS, Sydney, and a Bachelor of Commerce from Hunan University of Commerce, China.
Melissa leads Labassa’s Sydney office.

Michael Suckling – Chief Operating Officer
Michael is Labassa Capital’s Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for corporate finance, operations, governance and regulatory compliance.
Michael is also Chair of the Labassa Capital Credit Committee.
He has more than 30 years’ experience in professional services, funds management, global infrastructure and real estate, including real estate development, property asset management and capital raising.
Before joining Labassa Michael held senior real estate investment management roles at Caydon Property Group, APN Property Group Limited, Perpetual and Deloitte.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Tasmania and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.

Joshua Erez – Senior Analyst
As a senior analyst with Labassa, Joshua is responsible for deal origination, financial modelling and due diligence analysis.
Before joining Labassa, Joshua was an associate with a private real estate debt and equity firm, and analyst in energy and commodity derivatives, across various trading hubs in Europe, USA and Asia.
Joshua holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Griffith University.

Christopher D’Angelo – Business Development Manager
Christopher is responsible for developing Labassa’s domestic channel partners and high net worth investor relationships.
Christopher has over 15 years’ experience in the real estate and private equity markets including real estate financing, deal structuring, property asset management and capital raising.
Prior to joining Labassa, Christopher held a senior investment analyst and asset management role in a private equity family office in Washington, DC.
In the 8 years prior, Christopher co-founded a commercial brokerage and property management firm during which he was directly responsible for the acquisition, disposition and refinancing of real estate in excess of $150M. Christopher began his career at CB Richard Ellis (now CBRE) as a research analyst and sales associate.
Christopher holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance) from Concordia University, Montreal Canada. He also holds a Graduate Certificate of Management Accounting and is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada.
Vrinda Patel - Finance Manager
Vrinda is the Finance Manager at Labassa Capital and is responsible for corporate finance, loan book accounting and Fund accounting. She is responsible for periodic management and compliance reporting to the relevant committees.
Before joining Labassa, Vrinda worked as a Fund Accountant and Regulatory Compliance Manager at Melbourne based Merricks Capital where she was responsible for regulatory reporting across several jurisdictions and accounting for multiple Funds.
Vrinda has over 12 years in the hedge fund industry, with 5+ years of working experience in Chicago and New York.
Vrinda holds a Bachelor of Accounting and Finance degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago and has completed her CPA certification from Illinois as well as CPA Australia.
Adriana Shum – Financial Accountant
Adriana Shum is the Financial Accountant at Labassa Capital and is responsible for corporate finance and Fund accounting.
Adriana has more than 20 years’ experience in the accounting profession and various industries. Before joining Labassa Capital she has held senior accounting roles at Deloitte, Holden, Wesfarmers, a listed financial services company, a second tier construction company and a property development group.
Adriana holds a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Melbourne and is a member of both Chartered Accountants Australia & New Zealand and CPA Australia.
The Labassa Capital advisory board provides specialist governance and strategic advice.
Michael Bowers – Advisory Board member
Michael is a member of the Labassa Capital Advisory Board. He has extensive corporate governance and management experience including a variety of c-suite roles across real estate, aged care, retirement, community living and sport.
Before joining Labassa, Michael was CEO of Southern Cross Aged Care and Chief Operating Officer of a property funds management business that grew from $100m to $1bn.
Prior to that, Michael was CEO of Brisbane Lions Australian Football Club and a partner in commercial law firms.
Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws from Queensland University of Technology.
Tony Kaiser – Advisory Board member
Tony is a member of the Labassa Capital Advisory Board. He is the Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chief Investment Officer of Kaiser Trading Group.
Tony has been trading financial markets for almost 30 years. Under Tony’s direction, Kaiser has become renowned for its advanced computer modelling and development of sophisticated propriety software.
Before founding Kaiser, Tony started the FX Options Desk at National Australia Bank (1988-1998) where he commenced systematic proprietary trading.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Commerce, Accounting and Finance from Swinburne University.
